Kevin Ferrara’s peers around the world consider him a trusted Subject Matter Expert. He applies his proven 35-years of fire service experience and agile fire protection and emergency service (FPES) consulting expertise to career and volunteer emergency service affiliated organizations, as well as state and local governmental agencies around the world.
Kevin is a retired US Air Force firefighter and senior fire official. Prior to his retirement, Kevin Ferrara received, created, and provided in-depth fire service and technical rescue training. At the same time, Kevin attained higher education and professional credentials. These personal and professional accomplishments supported his selection to critical roles at installations around the world to include the Pentagon. As a result of his distinguished accomplishments, Kevin received numerous accolades. These accolades came from national and international governmental and fire service leaders and organizations.
As a strong advocate for firefighter health and safety, Kevin is often sought as a guest speaker. His personal experience regarding exposure to toxic PFAS (Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) reached a national audience multiple times. Kevin’s story was broadcast nationally through The National Desk’s “Spotlight on America” award winning investigative television show. Kevin often lobbies federal and state governments seeking the passage of various legislation. His focus involves firefighter health and safety, specifically medical treatment and compensation for firefighters. In addition, Kevin fights to ensure veterans like himself, receive proper and effective medical care from the Veterans Affairs (VA).
