Mr. Kevin Ferrara is the founder and CEO of Advisers to Fire Service Organizations (AFSO21 LLC), a service-connected disabled veteran owned and operated fire protection and emergency services advising firm located in the heart of central Pennsylvania. An alumni of The Graduate School at Penn State, Kevin earned a Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) in Community and Economic Development (CEDEV). Throughout his 36-years of honorable public service, to include 20-years in the United States Air Force (USAF), Kevin’s distinguished accomplishments resulted in numerous accolades from national and international fire service leaders and governmental organizations. As a strong advocate for firefighter health and safety, Kevin is often requested to speak about occupational exposures to toxins including Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) as well as contribute to local, state, and federal legislative efforts to protect firefighters and veterans. In addition, Kevin contributes to technical and industry standard organizations that serve emergency responders around the world.
